At Born Outside Italy we are obsessed about production and bringing back craftsmanship to the heart of luxury apparel.

We knew we wanted to create something people would not only love from an aesthetic perspective but something that felt different when worn.

People told us their luxury sneakers were not only uncomfortable to wear but were made using cheaper methods and materials.

We knew that there was only place in the world that truly understood how to craft a luxury shoe, Italy.

Marche and Veneto to be precise. Here we fuse modern designs with production techniques passed down over generations. Only here do Calzolaio (Cobblers) go work every day to produce beautiful shoes in small batches and in small factories.

Born Outside Italy sneakers are an ode to the great craftsmen and women who skills help make the most comfortable luxury sneaker.

WHY DO OUR SHOES FEEL SO COMFORTABLE ALL DAY LONG?

Once you dig a bit deeper into which materials your favorite sneakers are made but, you’ll start to understand why Born Outside Italy hand select every material that goes into making our shoes.

Our aim has always been to create not only a beautiful aesthetic but something that you won't want to take off. Innovative design meets artisanal production.

We chose only premium Italian leathers, known for their suppleness, durability and foot feel.

For the suede, we sought out the softest yet most resilient variety and our synthetic soles chosen for flexibility a thermoplastic rubber, that’s flex tested over 10,000 cycles for it’s durability.

In the hands of master shoemakers, the 27 individual components, that make up the sneakers  are meticulously stitched and glued together, one at a time.

FOR US, QUALITY IS NOT JUST ABOUT USING THE FINEST MATERIALS, BUT IT IS THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND EVERYTHING WE DO.

We believe in making luxury products that stand the test of time. Timeless classics that complement every wardrobe, that you’ll keep coming back to.

This is not true of all fashion brands. For us, quality is not just about using the finest materials, but it is the philosophy behind everything we do. 

To be Timeless means embracing understated elegance that endures beyond the trend. Using the finest materials ensures a product performs consistently and lasts longer. This seems obvious, yet many cut corners here. We aim for longevity in luxury.

Our premium materials are chosen not just for their inherent beauty and quality, but for their durability, reducing the need to replace them often. No unnecessary packaging and a responsibility for our planets precious resources.

If there does come a time when you’ve loved your Born Outside Italy products a little too hard, we pledge to help repair and recirculate, rather than throw away. We want to ensure that our products live on, well into their second life.
