www.bornoutsideitaly.com website (the “Website”) is operated by Born Outside Trading LLC, a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with commercial license number 1248282 and its registered office at PRO Box Business Centre, Sara Building, Garhoud, Dubai, United Arab Emirate (“we”, “us”, “ours”) and/or its affiliates and subsidiaries. Born Outside Trading LLC is the data controller of the personal information it processes, unless otherwise stated.

This Privacy and Cookies Policy applies if you use our services, or if you contact us or we contact you about them, which may include, but is not limited to: using any of our platforms including, but not limited to the Site; general requests; customer service channels associated with our services, products and/or programs.

We take your privacy very seriously and therefore want you to know how your data is collected, used, shared and stored, as described in this Privacy and Cookies Policy.

Please note that our Privacy and Cookies Policy is updated from time to time and that you will be bound by the most recent update of the policy appearing on our Website. We (and our authorized service providers) collect information supplied by you via the Website, other websites operated by us or any of our Website customer service channels including without limitation on the phone, via email, via WhatsApp or our Live Chat feature (where available) or through other websites and/or social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Snap, Twitter and TikTok). Credit/debit cards’ details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.

We offer the ability to communicate with us via WhatsApp and a Live Chat feature to assist you with queries you may have. Where available we may record and store all chat conversations. These transcripts are only accessed for customer service purposes.

We have to have a valid reason to use your personal information or have your permission. Our purpose for collecting the information is as set out above.

The legal basis we rely on for processing your personal data is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and/or the UAE personal Data Protection law, if applicable.

Who may we share information with

We use data processors who are third parties who provide elements of services for us. Our internal policy is to use reasonable endeavours to seek to have arrangements in place with our data processors to protect your data.

We will not pass any debit/credit card details to third parties.

In some circumstances, we are legally obliged to share information. For example, under a court order or where we cooperate with other supervisory authorities in handling complaints or investigations. We might also share information with other regulatory bodies in order to further their, or our, objectives.

If you unsubscribe, we will change the way we use your data but any accounts you have with us, any of our affiliates and/or group companies or our (and/or our affiliates' and/or group companies') third party providers will remain active.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. We have one month to respond to you.

If you request that your data is erased note that we keep a record of how you have used the services, but this information cannot be linked back to you and we retain any information required by law.

Measures we put in place to protect your data

If you are a Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snap and/or LinkedIn member or a member of another Born Outside Trading LLC website, the data collected via such websites will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the relevant website (as applicable) save that we may combine your data collected through the Website with that other data.
